Paulínia launches first Municipal Housing Plan
The city of Paulínia is launching its first Municipal Housing Plan (PMH) to address local housing deficits and support homeownership. Developed with technical support from the Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política de São Paulo (FESPSP), the plan was created through public workshops, interviews, and virtual consultations to map the municipality's housing needs.
Mayor Danilo Barros stated that the plan aims to transform lives by guiding future housing policies. The PMH will be submitted to the Paulínia City Council as a bill for deliberation. In parallel with the plan's development, the municipal housing department has moved forward with the contracting of 400 Minha Casa, Minha Vida apartments in Jardim Flamboyant for low-income families.
