Pavia province strengthens police with 28 new Carabinieri

On 28 June, 28 newly trained Carabinieri from the 144th course arrived in the province of Pavia, Italy. They were assigned to the four company commands in Pavia, Vigevano, Voghera and Stradella. Their six‑month training covered judicial police, public order, cyber‑crime, environmental crime and first‑aid rescue. The recruits were received by the Provincial Carabinieri Commander, Col. Pantaleone Grimaldi, and subsequently introduced to the Prefect of Pavia, Francesca De Carlin, before beginning duties aimed at bolstering public‑order and safety services across the territory.
