Pavlos Melas Municipality announces Cultural September 2026

The Pavlos Melas Municipality in Thessaloniki has announced 'Cultural September 2026', a series of 21 events scheduled from September 1 to September 18. The program features various activities held in open-air theaters, squares, parks, and local neighborhoods, designed for residents and visitors of all ages.

Key highlights of the festival include the Byzantine Watermills Festival, large neighborhood concerts, and the 'Patrida Arouthymia' events focusing on Pontic memories. Other scheduled activities include theater days, shadow theater performances, and children's film screenings. All events are free to the public.

Mayor Dimitris Aslanidis emphasized that culture serves as a vital means of communication and expression, while Municipal Councilor Adamantia Agoutoglou noted the program's ability to unite different ages and neighborhoods.
