Pax8 launches 8os and 8bot for managed AI services

Pax8 has introduced 8os and 8bot, a paired platform designed to help Managed Service Providers (MSPs) deploy and monetize artificial intelligence for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

8os serves as a centralized operating system for the governance, deployment, and billing of various AI agents and models across multiple client environments. It allows providers to track usage, enforce company policies, and set budget caps to prevent unexpected costs.

8bot is positioned as a managed AI coworker that can be resold by partners. It operates as a digital worker with its own dedicated cloud computer, persistent memory, and the ability to handle tasks such as meeting preparation and document drafting. While initial integration focuses on Microsoft 365, the roadmap includes support for Google and QuickBooks.

Both platforms are currently in limited early access, with general availability expected in early 2027.
