PayPay launches identity verification campaign for youth
PayPay has announced a new campaign targeting users aged 12 to 25 to encourage identity verification. Starting October 1 and running through October 31, eligible users who apply for identity verification through the PayPay app and complete the screening process by November 30 will receive PayPay points.
The amount of points awarded depends on when the user registered for the service: users who registered on or before September 29 will receive 500 points, while new users registering on or after September 30 will receive 1,000 points. Points are expected to be distributed around late December.
Completing identity verification allows users to participate in exclusive campaigns, perform bank account transfers and remittances, and access additional services such as insurance payments, overseas usage, and streamlined account openings for PayPay Bank and PayPay Securities.
