PayPay youth identity verification campaign
Overview
PayPay has initiated an identity verification campaign specifically targeting users between the ages of 12 and 25. Running from October 1 through October 31, 2026, the program incentivizes users to complete the electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) process.
Participants who complete the screening by November 30 will receive PayPay points. The reward amount is tiered based on account registration dates: users who registered on or before September 29 will receive 500 points, while those registering on or after September 30 will receive 1,000 points. Points are scheduled for distribution around late December.
Successful identity verification enables users to access expanded services, including bank account transfers, remittances, insurance payments, and overseas usage.
