Paysandu signs defensive midfielder Kukri on loan

Paysandu has announced the signing of 19-year-old defensive midfielder Krowakreti Viviane Kajipok, known as Kukri. The player, who hails from the Krijohere indigenous community of the Gavião people, joins the club on loan from Águia de Marabá with a contract running until August 2027 and an option for a permanent purchase.

Kukri brings professional experience to the club, having played over 50 matches in the last two seasons. He previously spent time in the youth categories of Coritiba. While he will initially integrate into Paysandu’s under-20 squad to facilitate his development, he remains available for the professional team. The club intends to monitor his progress through a multidisciplinary approach involving health, performance, and management to prepare him for more consistent professional opportunities, potentially starting in the 2027 Campeonato Paraense.
