PB Pergatsi holds 2026 National Gateball Championship in Jakarta

The Pengurus Besar Persatuan Gateball Seluruh Indonesia (PB Pergatsi) is hosting the final round of the 2026 National Gateball Championship in Jakarta. Held at the National Sports Hospital (RSON) field, the event features eleven categories, including singles, doubles, triples, and various team formats for men, women, and mixed groups.

The championship, which runs from October 20 to 24, involves approximately 747 athletes representing 27 to 28 provinces. The competition serves as a vital platform for athlete development and selection for future events, specifically the National Sports Week (PON) qualifications.

Officials, including PB Pergatsi Daily Chairman Khalawi Abdul Hamid and KONI Central Chairman Marciano Norman, noted that the tournament is a key opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their skills and for regional associations to evaluate their training programs in preparation for the 2028 PON in East Nusa Tenggara and West Nusa Tenggara.
