PC1 names 27‑year‑old Trịnh Khánh Linh as new chairman of board

On July 24, Vietnam’s construction group PC1 convened an extraordinary shareholders meeting and approved a reshuffle of its board of directors for the 2025‑2030 term.

The meeting elected Trịnh Khánh Linh, 27, as chair of the board and added three other members – Trịnh Tiến Dũng, Vũ Thị Minh Nhật and Lê Thành Lương – bringing the board to five members. Attendance included 103 shareholders and 146 proxies, representing 54.69% of voting rights.

The restructuring follows the indictment of four of the previous five board members for serious accounting violations and asset misappropriation. The newly formed board pledged to improve transparency, risk management and overall corporate governance. Linh said, “Reorganising the leadership is a crucial step to strengthen management and create new momentum for PC1.”

Trịnh Tiến Dũng also heads the Đại Dũng Group, a leading steel‑construction firm behind major projects such as the world’s largest stadium, Hùng Vương. The board will also revamp positions such as chairman of the audit committee and chief risk officer to safeguard shareholder capital.
