Vietnam PC1 leadership reshuffle

On July 24, 2026, Vietnam construction conglomerate PC1 held an extraordinary shareholders meeting to replace its board after four of the five previous members were indicted for accounting violations and asset misappropriation. The meeting elected 27‑year‑old Trịnh Khánh Linh as chair of the board and added three independent directors, bringing the board to five members. The new board pledged stronger transparency, risk management and corporate governance.

Three days later, PC1 announced a further executive overhaul. Lê Văn Dũng, a former head of the Accounting Department, was appointed General Director (CEO) and legal representative. The company also named Nguyễn Thanh Hương as CFO and Vũ Thị Hương as chief accountant, while dismissing several senior officials. Additional board appointments included Trịnh Tiến Dũng and independent directors Vũ Thị Minh Nhật and Lê Thành Lương. PC1’s leadership framed the changes as a response to individual misconduct, not operational flaws, and projected a 150 % profit increase for the first half of 2026.
