PDAM Makassar deploys free water tankers amid drought
Perumda Air Minum Kota Makassar (PDAM Makassar) has deployed water tanker services to assist customers affected by reduced raw water supplies at Water Treatment Plants (IPA) 2 and 3. The shortage is attributed to low rainfall and drought conditions affecting the availability of raw water sources.
Wahidin, Head of Distribution and Water Loss at PDAM Makassar, stated that the tanker services are provided free of charge. He urged the public to report any individuals attempting to charge for these services. To maximize coverage, the tanker fleet will operate from 09:00 to 24:00 WITA.
