PDI Perjuangan bolsters party structure in Belu, East Nusa Tenggara
On 24 July 2026, the PDI Perjuangan branch in Belu Regency held a simultaneous Musyawarah Anak Cabang (sub‑branch meeting) for officials from 12 sub‑districts at the Wanita Betelalenok building in Atambua. The session was attended by Dr. Andreas Hugo Pareira, DPP Chair for Organization and Membership, who stressed that the meeting is a key step in the party’s nationwide consolidation agenda set out at the VI Congress in 2025. After completing restructurings at the national, provincial and district levels, the focus now shifts to strengthening sub‑district (PAC) and village‑level cadres.
Pareira pledged that once sub‑district leadership is finalized, village and urban‑kelurahan posts will be filled, enabling decisions from the central committee to reach grassroots members within one to two days. DPD representatives from Nusa Tenggara Timur, including Yunus H. Takandewa and Stevano Rizki Adranacus (also a DPR member), echoed the need for a solid, uniform structure to enhance the party’s effectiveness in local communities.
