PDPC promotes Certification Mark to elevate Thai data protection standards

The Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) is promoting the ‘PDPC Certification Mark’ to elevate personal data protection standards within Thai organizations. The initiative aims to move beyond mere legal compliance, encouraging companies to implement verifiable systems, processes, and security measures that demonstrate accountability to the public, customers, and business partners.

To support this initiative, the PDPC will host the ‘PDPC Certification Mark Executive Talk’ on September 30, 2026, at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok. The event, titled ‘PDPC Certification Mark and Elevating Thai Organizational Standards to International Levels,’ is designed for executives and Data Protection Officers (DPOs) to understand how standardized data management can enhance corporate credibility and mitigate risks in the digital economy.
