Peace Mothers to hold protest in Ankara regarding Abdullah Öcalan

Members of the Peace Mothers movement from cities including Şırnak, Mardin, and Çukurova are traveling to Ankara to hold a “Peace Watch” protest. The group is demanding concrete steps toward a solution process, the release of political prisoners, and the clarification of Abdullah Öcalan’s legal status.

Representatives stated that they seek physical freedom for Öcalan and are calling on the state to take responsibility for the peace process. The activists intend to set up tents near the Parliament to voice their demands, emphasizing that they want to prevent further loss of life and ensure the rights of political detainees are respected.
