Pearl Abyss expands free post‑launch updates for Crimson Desert

Pearl Abyss has continued to release weekly free updates for its MMORPG Crimson Desert, adding new game systems, armor sets, abilities and extensive UI improvements. The studio has introduced fully remappable controls, expanded inventory tabs, three difficulty sliders, and load‑out memory that restores a player’s gear after death. Marketing director Will Powers said the focus is “to give more back to the community” and that updates will run through September, with a future DLC that will differ from the current patches. Additional enhancements include clarified cutscenes and a better onboarding experience. The game remains available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

These ongoing changes aim to reward both new and veteran players and keep Crimson Desert a “living, breathing experience.”
