Pearl Abyss announces DLC and Switch 2 port for Crimson Desert
Pearl Abyss has announced several strategic expansions for its hit action RPG, Crimson Desert, following its successful launch in March 2026. The developer confirmed that the first paid DLC is currently in development and is targeted for a release in late 2026, with specific details regarding content and pricing expected to be revealed in the third quarter of 2026.
In terms of platform expansion, the studio has confirmed that a version for the Nintendo Switch 2 is in development. The project has reportedly reached a “playable baseline,” and technical evaluations are underway to ensure the game maintains its high-quality graphics and open-world experience on the new hardware.
