Pearl Abyss responds to Crimson Desert reviews with major updates

Pearl Abyss has responded to previous critical reviews of its game, Crimson Desert, stating that the developers do not hold negative assessments against the press. The company noted that critics tested a version of the game that differed from the final release and had limited time to explore the game's extensive details.

To address feedback regarding overly dense systems, the developer is implementing various updates and new features. Upcoming or existing content includes a house-building and customization system, 133 new trading stations, a supply-and-demand based economic system, 20 new pet species, and activities such as bird watching and fishing. The developer indicated that the game is evolving rapidly and a major DLC expansion is expected soon.
