Pearl Abyss rolls out Crimson Desert 1.12 patch adding house décor and cutting load times

Korean developer Pearl Abyss released patch 1.12 for the open‑world action RPG Crimson Desert on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The update adds extensive house‑decoration options, including tools to craft 58 new items such as fountains, wells, braziars, streetlights, carpets, hanging planters, automata toys, a music box and pet furniture, and allows players to decorate the area outside their in‑game house. It also enhances side characters Damiane and Oongka, letting them equip Visiones, read memories and ride the dragon Blackstar, while leader Kliff receives new headgear and armor. Technical improvements include reduced loading times and a character‑loading screen that now appears when loading as Damiane or Oongka. Pearl Abyss continues weekly support as it prepares further story content and a DLC expansion for the game’s more than six million players.

The patch reflects Pearl Abyss’s ongoing commitment to community wishes and to expanding gameplay options ahead of future expansions.
