Pedestrian dies after being struck by JuárezBus in Ciudad Juárez

A pedestrian died in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, after being struck by a JuárezBus unit while attempting to cross Boulevard Zaragoza near Desierto de Colorado street. The individual was transported to the Hospital General Regional number 66 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), where they were pronounced dead shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Preliminary reports from the General Coordination of Road Safety indicate the bus was traveling in the confined lane from north to south. The driver, a 46-year-old woman, was uninjured and was not found to be under the influence of alcohol. The Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation to determine responsibility and establish the exact circumstances of the accident.
