Peloponnese approves 1.45 million euros for road works in Arcadia and Laconia
The Peloponnese Regional Committee has approved six road network intervention projects in the regions of Arcadia and Laconia, with a total budget of 1.45 million euros.
In Arcadia, 950,000 euros have been allocated for maintenance works across four municipalities: North Kynouria (300,000 euros), South Kynouria (150,000 euros), Gordynia (300,000 euros), and Tripoli (200,000 euros). Additionally, 300,000 euros were approved for the immediate restoration and construction of a bypass on the Megalopolis – Isari – Basta provincial road to address issues caused by ground subsidence.
In Laconia, the committee approved the tendering of road maintenance works for the Pellas municipal unit, with a budget of 200,000 euros. These decisions are part of a broader regional plan to systematically maintain and upgrade the road network to enhance safety and improve mobility for residents and visitors.
