Peloponnese Region announces agrifood support and public health initiatives
The Peloponnese Region has announced several initiatives aimed at economic promotion and public safety. To support the local agrifood sector, the region is inviting businesses to participate in the 13th EXPOTROF B2B Fine Food Exhibition, scheduled for January 30 to February 1, 2027, at MEC Paiania. The region will provide financial subsidies to participating companies, covering 50% of costs for 6 sq.m. booths (up to €700) and 35% for 12 sq.m. booths (up to €1,800).
In terms of public health, the Peloponnese Region is launching a cardioprotection plan titled ‘Armoring Life, Investing in Safety’. This initiative aims to establish a network of publicly accessible defibrillators across the region and provide citizens with training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The project is being implemented by the General Directorate of Public Health and Social Care in collaboration with the organization KIDS SAVE LIVES, the Corinth Medical Association, and various local municipalities. The official presentation of the plan is set for October 15, 2026, in Corinth.
