Penafiel and Ponferradina launch new 2026‑27 visual identities and kits

Futebol Clube do Penafiel unveiled a refreshed institutional brand for the 2026‑27 season, modernising its shield while preserving key elements such as the crown, swords and a geometric pattern inspired by the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Sameiro. The redesign introduces a new monogram based on the club’s initials, "FCP," and follows a similar philosophy to recent updates at Deportivo.

Deportivo Ponferradina presented three new kits for the same season. The first kit features a central red stripe, the second is pink, and the third combines black and green with geometric U‑shapes. Fan feedback was mixed: 52% disliked the red as the dominant colour, 27% preferred red only as an accent, and 21% approved the design. The kits bear the Adidas logo and sponsor TVitec branding.
