Pennsylvania woman charged in Great Wolf Lodge killings

Metallica Rose Harrison, 27, has been charged with two counts of criminal homicide following the deaths of her husband, Charles Harrison, 36, and their 3-year-old son, Tristan, at a Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun, Pennsylvania.

According to police affidavits, the victims were found in their hotel room after Harrison called 911 to report the killings. Investigators found that Charles Harrison had been stabbed multiple times in the chest, while Tristan died from a single stab wound to the chest. Authorities noted that the knives used in the attack were brought to the resort by the suspect and were not provided by the hotel.

Following the incident, Harrison reportedly told emergency responders that she was 'suicidal, not stupid.' She remains in custody in Monroe County. A private investigator noted that because the killings may have been planned and involved the death of a child, the case could potentially qualify for capital punishment prosecution under Pennsylvania law.
