Pensiones Civiles del Estado begins emergency area modernization in Chihuahua

Pensiones Civiles del Estado (PCE) has launched the third stage of modernization for the emergency area at its Chihuahua delegation. The project aims to improve security, accessibility, and mobility for beneficiaries receiving medical care.

Key improvements include the remodeling of waiting rooms and restrooms, the installation of two elevators to facilitate patient transport, and the construction of a connecting bridge between the emergency building and the imaging and laboratory facilities. This infrastructure will allow for safer and more efficient transfers within the building, eliminating the previous need for patients to exit the facility to undergo specialized studies such as magnetic resonance imaging or CT scans.

Heriberto Miranda Pérez, Director General of PCE, noted that these works address a challenge that had persisted for over four decades. The project is being supervised by the Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Obras Públicas (SCOP) following a formal bidding process.
