Pensiones Civiles del Estado healthcare improvements

Pensiones Civiles del Estado (PCE) has undertaken initiatives to improve healthcare services and infrastructure in Chihuahua. The institution held its eighth PrevENSIONES State Meeting to focus on health promotion, preventive medicine, and specialized training for nursing staff and regional delegates. During this meeting, Director General Heriberto Miranda Pérez stated that investing in early detection and epidemiological surveillance is a “strategic decision rather than an expense” intended to protect the institution’s budget.

Following these efforts in medical prevention, the PCE launched the third stage of a modernization project for the emergency area at its Chihuahua delegation. This infrastructure work, supervised by the Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Obras Públicas (SCOP), includes remodeling waiting rooms, installing elevators, and constructing a connecting bridge between the emergency building and laboratory facilities. These improvements aim to enhance security, accessibility, and patient mobility, addressing challenges that have existed for over forty years.
