Pensiones Civiles del Estado holds health prevention meeting

Pensiones Civiles del Estado (PCE) held the eighth edition of its PrevENSIONES State Meeting in Chihuahua to strengthen health promotion, prevention, and medical care for its beneficiaries. The event brought together nursing staff, directors, delegates, and department heads from various regions to engage in specialized training and collaborative work.

During the meeting, regional delegates presented local projects and identified operational challenges. This led to the establishment of priorities and agreements aimed at improving internal processes and service quality. PCE Director General Heriberto Miranda Pérez emphasized that preventive medicine is a strategic decision rather than an expense, noting that investing in early detection and epidemiological surveillance protects the institution's budget and long-term sustainability.

The event also included recognition for high-performing modules, with the Juárez delegation receiving first place, followed by Camargo in second and Jiménez in third. Workshops focused on early detection and the prevention of diseases such as breast cancer.
