Pentagon removes classified documents from SIPRNet

The Pentagon has removed decades-old classified documents from SIPRNet, a secure computer network used by defense officials and US military personnel. This action follows public criticism from high-ranking generals regarding war plans involving Iran.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the documents related to the Secretary of Defense Orders Book (SDOB) were taken down from an internal web portal. It remains unclear if these documents are still accessible through other channels or if the removal will impede military planning.

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell declined to discuss the specific changes but did not deny that the removal occurred, stating that the department does not comment publicly on internal operational advisory processes or access protocols.
