Perfect Diary launches Japan-exclusive makeup collections

Yatsen Beauty Japan has announced the release of two Japan-exclusive items from the Chinese cosmetics brand Perfect Diary. The launch includes the “PD Explorer 12-Color Eyeshadow 25 Warm Deer” (nicknamed the “Bambi Palette”) and a limited edition “Translucent Blue Ring Setting Powder” in Floating Green.

The Bambi Palette features a low-saturation apricot color scheme designed for multi-use as eyeshadow, blush, and highlighter. The new packaging includes guidance on how to use each of the 12 colors for various makeup functions such as eyeliner or shading.

The Floating Green setting powder is designed to correct skin redness and dullness using a four-color combination of green, pink, white, and pearl. Additionally, the brand is introducing a loose powder version of its Blue Ring series to improve sebum control and skin texture.

Perfect Diary, which has sold approximately 29.56 million units globally, continues to expand its presence in Japan. The company has opened three direct stores this year and maintains a presence in over 500 variety shops across the country. The brand has invested approximately 14.5 billion yen in research and development over the last five years.
