Pergamino authorities investigate deaths of man and woman

Authorities in Pergamino, Argentina, are investigating the deaths of a woman approximately 50 years old and an 85-year-old man found in an apartment in the Santa Julia neighborhood. The bodies were discovered in an advanced state of decomposition, with initial estimates suggesting they had been deceased for at least three days.

Investigators are currently examining a primary hypothesis of femicide followed by suicide, suggesting the man may have shot the woman before taking his own life. A firearm was recovered at the scene and is undergoing forensic analysis. Officials are working to confirm the identities of the victims and the exact circumstances of the deaths through upcoming autopsies.
