In the decisive match held at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú, Antonio Santos delivered a dominant pitching performance for Puebla. The offense provided early support in the third inning when Herlis Rodríguez hit a triple to score Samar Leyva, followed by a Sergio Alcántara single that drove in Rodríguez to make it 2-0. The third run arrived in the fifth inning following a wild pitch by Nick Vespi that allowed Lorenzo Cedrola to score.
The loss ends the bid for a third consecutive championship by the Diablos Rojos, who were the defending champions from 2024 and 2025. Pericos de Puebla will now await the winner of the series between Guerreros de Oaxaca and Olmecas de Tabasco in the South Zone Final.
