Perlis Police and KDNKA to strengthen Malaysia-Thailand border security
The Perlis Police Contingent and the Bukit Aman Department of Internal Security and Public Order (KDNKA) are increasing cooperation to strengthen security controls along the Malaysia-Thailand border. This initiative aims to significantly reduce cross-border crime rates in the Perlis region.
Acting Perlis Police Chief, Senior Assistant Commissioner Zaihairul Idrus, officially took over the role from Datuk Muhammad Abdul Halim during a handover ceremony at the Perlis Contingent Police Headquarters in Kangar. The ceremony was witnessed by the Director of KDNKA Bukit Aman, Commissioner of Police Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri.
Following the transition, Datuk Muhammad Abdul Halim has moved to Bukit Aman to serve as the Deputy Director of KDNKA (Movement/Operations).
