Her administration’s housing programme, Morar Bem – Entrada Garantida, has already assisted about 26,500 families and this week delivered 133 new homes in the Jardim Monjope II complex in Igarassu, funded with a R$2.6 million subsidy.

Former Petrolina mayor Miguel Coelho declared his candidacy for a seat in the federal Chamber of Deputies, pledging to support Lyra’s agenda from Brasília. PSB candidate João Campos, running for governor, reiterated his support for Lula and outlined development proposals, including a new regional hospital and expanded digital services.

In TSE asset filings, Lyra reported a net worth of R$359,498.33, while João Campos disclosed R$2,892,723.46, the highest among the candidates. Lyra also affirmed there is no rift in her political base despite Coelho’s endorsement of Mendonça Filho.
