Pernambuco Governor Raquel Lyra Gains Support from Izaías Régis and Débora Almeida in Garanhuns

Governor Raquel Lyra (PSD) of Pernambuco announced a joint re‑election ticket with former Garanhuns mayor Izaías Régis and state deputy Débora Almeida, pledging to continue development projects in the Agreste region. The trio highlighted recent investments such as a new creche, the Institute of Legal Medicine, Hospital Mestre Dominguinhos and a new maternity unit in Garanhuns, describing them as tangible benefits for local residents.

During a visit to the works, Izaías Régis said, “It is a great joy to see Garanhuns advancing with the government’s action,” emphasizing the partnership’s role in delivering infrastructure and social services to the area.
