Perrelet and ArtyA announce new luxury watch complications

Perrelet has collaborated with Dubai-based IFL Watches to release an exclusive edition of its Weekend GMT Atlas. The watches feature hand-painted dials depicting various global landscapes, including the pyramids of Egypt and tropical vegetation, centered around a hand-painted compass rose. Each piece is unique due to the individual painting process. The model is powered by the in-house P-401 automatic movement, which includes a GMT function and offers a 42-hour power reserve. The series is limited to 50 pieces and is priced at 2,950 euros.

Geneva-based independent manufacturer ArtyA has introduced a ‘Métiers d’Art’ version of its Complexity complication. This model features a dual inclined tourbillon architecture housed in a sapphire or synthetic ruby case. The mechanism utilizes a conical trajectory for the balance wheel axis, a principle developed in collaboration with Purtec Sàrl. This technical approach, referred to by ArtyA as ‘Cônillon’, aims to compensate for gravitational effects through a specific geometric path.
