Persepolis FC considers departing two foreign players
Persepolis FC is working toward the departure of two foreign players, Daniel Gra and Marko Bakic, during the mid-season transfer window. Both players have struggled to secure consistent playing time this season.
Marko Bakic, previously a regular starter, has been unable to return to the lineup following an injury, appearing in only three matches for a total of 11 minutes. Daniel Gra has also failed to satisfy the technical staff despite his arrival being met with significant controversy and criticism.
Each player holds a contract valued at approximately $800,000 for the current season. The club is seeking a mutual agreement to terminate their contracts, which would allow Persepolis to free up foreign player quotas to strengthen the squad during the winter transfer period.
