Persepolis FC faces scrutiny over player selection under Mehdi Tartar

Persepolis FC, currently leading the league with 17 points from 8 matches under manager Mehdi Tartar, is facing scrutiny regarding player selection and the management of certain squad members.

While players like Payam Nayerand and Mohammad Mehdi Zare have played every minute of the season, several high-profile players remain sidelined. Hungarian defender Daniel Gra, a significant signing from the previous winter, has not played a single minute this season despite being fit. Similarly, Marco Baきč has struggled to secure a consistent role in Tartar’s tactical plans.

Concerns have also been raised regarding the treatment of young talent Amirhossein Mohammadi. Despite being a standout performer last season and earning call-ups to the national team, Mohammadi has played only 26 minutes this season, appearing only as a substitute on three occasions. Observers suggest this lack of playing time could negatively impact the development of the young player and his prospects with the national team.
