Persepolis FC secures contract extensions for veteran players

Persepolis FC has reached agreements to extend the contracts of several veteran players to maintain team structure for the upcoming seasons. Ali Alipour has fully agreed to terms, while club management is finalizing details with captains Mohammad Hossein Kanaanizadegan and Payam Niandeh for two-year extensions.

In squad news, veteran defender Mohammad Hossein Kanaanizadegan will miss the upcoming match against Mes Shah Babak due to injury. Although he has returned to training, the coaching staff has decided to delay his return to competitive play for approximately one week to avoid further risk. He is expected to be available for the match against Foolad in week 10.
