Persona 4 Revival remake slated for Feb 18, 2027 with new English cast and gameplay upgrades

Atlus announced that the upcoming remake of the role‑playing game Persona 4, titled Persona 4 Revival, will launch on February 18, 2027 for Windows PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The company revealed an entirely new English voice cast, with all dialogue—including minor lines—re‑recorded for the release. The Japanese cast remains unchanged.

A 20‑minute deep‑dive video demonstrated new gameplay mechanics such as a “Prime Time” gauge that reduces skill costs to zero, a pre‑emptive strike system that lets players hit Shadows as they flinch, and status‑spreading attacks. The Baton Pass feature from earlier Persona titles returns, allowing party members to pass turns. Atlus described the remake as a “stress‑free” experience and highlighted additional music, including a new opening theme and battle tracks. General producer Kazuhisa Wada confirmed these updates in the presentation.
