Persona 4 Revival remake to launch Feb 2027 with new combat mechanics and expanded social features

SEGA and Atlus announced that the remake of Persona 4, titled Persona 4 Revival, is scheduled for release on February 18, 2027. The game will retain the original turn‑based system but adds several combat upgrades, including a Guard Action for strategic defense, Knockback that spreads status effects, a Baton Touch mechanic for turn passing, and a Prime Time mode that grants free turns and ends with a high‑damage Prime Time Finish.

The social simulation side is also deepened. A new Human Parameters system expands traditional stats, influencing job options and story events, while the Community (formerly Social Links) system offers more detailed relationship building. All dialogue is fully voiced with a new cast, and the remake features a remixed soundtrack, visual enhancements, and UI improvements. Core elements such as the Wild Card ability and Velvet Room persona fusion remain unchanged, preserving the series' signature gameplay while delivering a modern experience.
