Pertamina and Indonesia's Ministry of Labour Sign MoU to Boost Workforce Safety
PT Pertamina (Persero) and the Ministry of Labour and Transmigration (Kemnaker) signed a Memorandum of Understanding and a Cooperation Agreement in Jakarta on 22 June 2026. The pact aims to strengthen workforce competence, productivity and occupational health and safety (K3) across Pertamina’s operations.
The MoU was signed by Pertamina Human‑Resources Director Andy Arvianto and Kemnaker Secretary General Cris Kuntadi, while the cooperation agreement was signed by Pertamina Corporate University SVP Robby Rafid, HSSE SVP I Ketut Laba and Kemnaker Director Darmawansyah. Present were Labour Minister Yasserli, Pertamina Chairman Mochamad Iriawan and Deputy Managing Director Oki Muraza. The agreement will focus on joint training programmes, safety‑culture development and the broader utilisation of human resources.
Both parties said the collaboration is strategic for Indonesia’s energy transition and national economic resilience. Iriawan called investment in people the best investment, while Muraza stressed that worker safety is a top priority for the company.
