Pertamina Patra Niaga cuts Pertamax prices nationwide on Aug 1, 2026

Effective 1 August 2026, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga reduced the retail price of its non‑subsidised gasoline products across Indonesia. Pertamax (RON 92) fell to Rp 15 950 per litre, Pertamax Turbo to Rp 18 300 per litre, and Pertamax Green 95 to Rp 16 600 per litre. The diesel‑related products Pertamina Dex (Rp 21 150) and Dexlite (Rp 19 700) remained unchanged. The adjustments follow the government’s pricing formula, taking into account global oil price trends and the rupiah exchange rate, and apply in regions subject to a 5 % fuel tax such as DKI Jakarta. Pertamina also promoted its MyPertamina app, offering cashback, special prices and loyalty‑point bonuses to help consumers benefit from the lower fuel costs.

The price cuts are the first for the Pertamax series since a June 10 2026 increase, and they are part of a regular review mandated by the Energy Ministry. While Pertamina lowered its gasoline prices, rival Shell raised its V‑Power diesel price to Rp 21 910 per litre, underscoring divergent market responses to the same global oil price environment.
