Pertamina leads relief and infrastructure recovery in East Manggarai

Following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake on August 15, humanitarian and operational recovery efforts are underway in East Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara. Pertamina officials, including Chairman Mochammad Iriawan, visited the Reo Fuel Terminal to inspect infrastructure and ensure the stability of fuel supplies. While some facilities, such as offices and prayer rooms, sustained damage, the terminal is reportedly returning to normal operations.

Relief teams have successfully reached isolated areas like Watu Hedok, a remote hilltop hamlet that was previously inaccessible. Volunteers delivered essential supplies, including food, medicine, baby equipment, and tarpaulins, to approximately 45 families facing extreme weather and the threat of aftershocks.

In addition to logistics, medical assistance is being provided to earthquake victims. Semen Padang Peduli has deployed medical teams to conduct health screenings for various age groups, including the elderly and pregnant women, to prevent secondary health issues in the disaster zone.
