Peru launches business initiatives to boost investment and MSME growth
Peru is preparing several initiatives to bolster its business ecosystem and attract foreign investment. The inPERÚ association is organizing its 19th Roadshow in New York on October 26 and 27. Led by Minister of Economy and Finance Elmer Cuba, a delegation of over 70 business leaders and public officials—including Central Reserve Bank President Julio Velarde—will meet with international investors to promote opportunities in mining, infrastructure, agroindustry, technology, and tourism.
Simultaneously, the Perú Business Fest (PBF) 2026, organized by COFIDE, will take place from October 14 to 17 at the Lima Center of Conventions. The event aims to address critical gaps in the Peruvian market, where only one in four micro-enterprises accesses credit and 86.4% of productive units operate informally. The festival will provide specialized advisory services, training in artificial intelligence, and digital transformation tools to help small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) improve productivity and access new markets.
