Peru investment promotion initiatives

Overview

Peru has launched several initiatives aimed at attracting foreign investment and supporting its domestic business ecosystem. To address market gaps, such as low credit access for micro-enterprises and high informality rates, the Perú Business Fest (PBF) 2026 was organized in Lima to provide advisory services and digital transformation training for small and medium-sized enterprises.

On the international stage, a large delegation of over 80 public and private sector representatives, including the Minister of Economy and Finance and the President of the Central Reserve Bank, traveled to New York for the XIX inPERÚ Roadshow. Held in late October, the mission involved meetings with major international investment banks to promote opportunities in strategic sectors such as mining, infrastructure, energy, and hydrocarbons, while seeking to strengthen international confidence in the Peruvian economy.
