Peru women's volleyball team set for 2026 South American Championship

The Peru women's national volleyball team is preparing for the 2026 South American Volleyball Championship, which will take place from September 8 to 13 at the Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Led by coach Antonio Rizola, the team will compete against Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, and Chile in a round-robin format.

The tournament carries significant stakes, offering three qualifying spots for the 2027 Women's World Volleyball Championship in the United States and Canada, as well as one ticket to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
