Santa Maria degli Angeli hosts record handbike cycling event

The UC Petrignano cycling club organized a record-breaking event in Santa Maria degli Angeli, near Assisi, dedicated to cycling for people with disabilities. The competition, which included handbike, tandem, cycling, and tricycle categories, saw over 100 participants and served as a stage for the Coppa Italia società.

The event featured the sixth ‘Memorial Gino Fragola’ and the eighth ‘Memorial Pierino Partenza’. Club President Orlando Ranucci highlighted the success of the day, noting the growing number of athletes each year and thanking local institutions and sponsors for their support.
