Peruvian exporters secure millions in international business opportunities

Peruvian companies have secured significant business opportunities through recent international trade initiatives. In Huancavelica, PROMPERÚ organized a business matchmaking event as part of Expo Perú Los Andes, connecting 41 national companies with 20 buyers from 12 different markets, including Germany, the United States, Canada, and South Korea. This event generated commercial opportunities totaling USD 12.3 million, focusing on textiles, clothing, decoration, and agro-industrial products.

Additionally, the International Cocoa and Chocolate Salon 2026 facilitated connections for Peruvian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). Participating organizations and MSMEs from nine regions generated business expectations exceeding USD 1.69 million in international markets and S/ 1.33 million in the domestic market. The salon attracted 102 international buyers from markets such as the United States, Japan, Germany, and Italy, highlighting interest in cocoa beans and related derivatives.
