Peruvian police seize cocaine, arrest drug suspects and confiscate counterfeit shoes in multiple operations

Police in northern Peru captured two alleged members of the "Los Paqueteros del Cucho" gang in Sullana, seizing more than 350 cocaine‑wrapped packets, cannabis, cash and equipment used for micro‑trafficking.

In the southern region of Puno, authorities detained four suspects linked to a vehicle‑theft ring, recovering a stolen Toyota Hilux, two other trucks, motorcycles and personal items.

In Callao, the National Police arrested two men suspected of a drive‑by shooting that killed André Paolo Juárez Oliva and wounded a 25‑year‑old woman outside the Real Felipe fortress, confiscating a pistol and the motorcycle used in the attack.

Separately in Tacna, a joint operation by the Fiscal Police and prosecutors seized 79 bags of counterfeit athletic shoes—including fake Nike, Adidas and Puma products—valued at roughly 495,000 soles, which will be held as evidence of intellectual‑property violations.
