Pervis Estupinan may stay at AC Milan despite transfer rumors

Pervis Estupinan may remain at AC Milan for the upcoming season despite previous speculation regarding his departure. Although the left-back was heavily linked with a move to Aston Villa, the English club ultimately signed Matteo Rugger from Atlético Madrid for €25 million after Milan manager Ruben Amorim requested more time to evaluate Estupinan’s pre-season performance.

Reports indicate that a recent meeting between Milan leadership and agent Jorge Mendes did not include instructions to sell Estupinan, suggesting the club is considering keeping him for the 2026/27 season. Estupinan has continued to train with the squad and featured in pre-season friendlies. He is expected to be available for Milan’s season opener against Torino.
