Pesaro and Maranello expand public defibrillator networks
In Pesaro, the Leo Club Pesaro has donated a new automated external defibrillator (AED) to Piazzale della Libertà. This device replaces an older unit donated by the same club ten years ago. The funding for this initiative was raised through a solidarity walk organized by the Leo Club Lions Pesaro and Lions Pesaro Host on May 24. Additionally, the club has purchased a second defibrillator to be used for future replacements within the city's medical network.
In Maranello, the 'Maranello Cardioprotetta' project continues with the inauguration of a new defibrillator in Piazza Toscanini, Pozza. This marks the 37th device installed in the area since the municipal project began in 2015. The installation was supported by the Italian Red Cross. The program includes training for various community members, including school staff, volunteers, and local police, to ensure effective use of the devices across the territory.
